My Philosophy

This is how I think about what it means to be human.

Most of us live lives swirled with dissatisfaction. We walk the days with the feeling that we’re deferring our dreams or living out someone else’s life.

Even if we’ve embarked on some path of self-development or self-discovery, we find ourselves repeating the same cycles, wondering if we’ll ever break free.

This is the human condition: feeling trapped in a loop we didn’t choose, with a constructed self that we take for the whole self, often ignoring urges, impulses, and dreams from the part of us that feels most alive—our soul.

The quality of our lives is determined by our relationship to time and the part of us that wants to feel alive. As we change relationship our to time, we change who we become:

  • Our sense of identity loosens as the grip of the past over the present relaxes.

  • Our thinking becomes less binary and more capable of holding complexity and paradox.

  • We begin to connect to the part of us that is not caught in the loop—the soul, the timeless within— and allow ourselves to be guided by it and our intuition.

  • We open ourselves to new choices and ways of being, and we recover old dreams and desires we’ve ignored or suppressed.

  • The future begins to teem with newfound possibilities since the past is no longer prologue.

The examined life and the discovery of the soul are not wholly theoretical enterprises. They are deeply practical. I teach a path for living from, not just thinking about, a new relationship to time, identity, and the infinite within each of us.

Our power to create ourselves and the life we lead is underestimated. We are also intimately intertwined; our lives are inextricable from the lives of all other beings. This path asks you to access what feels true for you while also cultivating kindness and empathy for others.

What my work is not: It is not New Age or social media influencer spirituality. I don’t teach manifestation, quantum healing, or ascension or talk about aliens. It is not therapy. I do not offer diagnoses or purport to heal trauma.
